Where were you born and where do you live now? I was born in Hong Kong, moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada when I was one and a half years old. I’ve been a BC girl my whole life! Proud Chinese-Canadian.

Favorite color? BLUE! I am a woman of the Pacific North West, growing up along the West Coast of Canada has made me into the water and nature person I am. Not to mention, I am also a water sign (Pisces)… so it makes sense.

Favorite movie of all time and favorite actor? My favorite movie of all time is JOKER. Which overlaps with my favorite actor… the one and ONLY incredibly beautiful and bravely talented, Joaquin Phoenix.

Favorite music style and favorite artist? ROCK N’ ROLL! Hard rock has been my passion since I was in the womb. My favorite band is ALICE IN CHAINS. Though commonly abbreviated for the generic ‘grunge’ term, their music has stretched from bluesy riffs to heavy metal .. and at the end of the day, it’s just rock n’ roll.

Beach or pool? Life is a beach…

Read the book or watch the movie? Play the piano!

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why? I would be a tiger or eagle. Both animals are free, crazy, and wild. And put up a fight for their survival and have impeccable instincts, intuition, and abilities.

What attracts you the most in a man? Money, duh. Haha, jokes. I love a man that tries really hard in all aspects of his life. What mainly attracts me to a man is his work. I absolutely love a man that excels and dominates in his workplace, talents, and creativity. I think the psychology behind that is because it shows he is more than capable and really strives to be his best because he sees strong meaningful value in life, and someone who loves life to me is sexy AF. I love a confident, cultured, caring, well-mannered man that can handle a dominant, alpha woman.

Biggest turn-on and biggest turnoff? Biggest turn-ons is a man that loves his mom, is educated in cultures and has a desire to explore the world and learn. Biggest turnoff is a man that does not respect a respected woman.

Describe your perfect date… We would jam together with me on lead vocals while he harmonizes while playing nasty heavy riffs with his electric Flying V guitar, followed by steak and lobster at our favorite restaurant downtown, and then a pack of Belmont cigarettes while talking about life by the water.

Describe yourself using 3 adjectives. Unapologetic, assertive, happy.

Tell us about your tattoos, any special meaning behind them? Most of my tattoos were done spontaneously or drunk. My favorite one is my first visible tattoo which is right on my hand, it’s a slot machine-inspired flames meets a Lucky Seven style tattoo. Got it done in Seattle when I was 19 and dating some 48-year-old rocker guy. My other favorite one is my Randy Rhoads portrait on my right arm, followed by my ‘West Coast’ script across my ass done in Los Angeles. And I also love my palm tree tattoo done at Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club on Sunset Blvd.

Where is your favorite vacation destination and why? I absolutely LOVE anywhere there are palm trees, I’ve been to Hawaii, California, Miami, obviously Hong Kong a bunch. But I think my favorite vacation destination of all time is anywhere in BC (Tofino, Pemberton, Osoyoos, to name a few.)

Where is the wildest place you have had sex? Woah! Now we’re talkin’, the kinda questions I live for! Hehehe. When I was in college (broadcasting school), I had a thing with a classmate for the entire two years. We would sneak off and fuck each other in all the recording studios, our cars in the parking lots, and even the gym bathrooms..there was a lot of chemistry and it was dangerous. We ended up both winning scholarships together as well. Talk about the real reason why some students do really well in school.

Congratulations on your Playboy feature! What do you think of when it comes to Playboy and the iconic bunny? Thank you so very much for this life-changing moment, and for choosing me to be this month’s cover. I am forever so grateful. I knew I wanted to be a Playboy Bunny since I was 3 years old… I always saw the magazines growing up and thought I shouldn’t be looking but couldn’t help it. Younger me is totally so proud of current-day 25-year-old me right now. Obviously, Playboy is the iconic symbolism behind the celebration of sexuality in women, and in my opinion – feminism. I’ll be signing a limited number of copies of my issue btw, stay tuned on my Instagram @dorakola.

If you could change any one thing in the world, what would it be and why? The cure for ignorance.

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Successfully working in music, having played Whisky-a-go-go and House of Blues already a whole bunch, have written sexual fantasy genre provocative adult novels, directing horror movies, acting in the occasional blockbuster comedic Seth Rogen flick as the hot rich Asian bimbo step-mom, and obviously married to Jerry Cantrell. Oh, and forever will be a businesswoman. Make sure to check out my music on all platforms (Spotify & Apple Music & Youtube) – DORA KOLA. And send me some love on Instagram @dorakola.
